Mahsa Idol 2011

OK. Finally I'm able to write something about the singing competition organised by Mahsa University College. I was there during their Elimination Round happened on 5th Oct, but it was a shame I'd got some problem transferring the photos to my laptop. So, I thought I would wait for the grand final with my Nikon P300 instead.

And look at the audiences behind us! The seats were completely filled in the hall, but that didn't stop the other supporters from witnessing the birth of the first Mahsa Idol as they gathered in front of the building to watch the competition live via projection. 

Introducing....

Meicher- The charmer.

Pink in Geek- The song-mixers

Megalodon- The rockers

Bass guitar! I personally think that bass guitarists are cool and attractive, my body just can't help but to follow their groove.  

Chad- The stripper. (Opss. Not what you're thinking, he just took off his jacket halfway singing)

Siow Sze Hoong- The cute. (Well, this pic doesn't really show it)

And those were all the top 5 finalists. Honestly speaking, they performed really well and big difference when they were in the Elimination Round. Bravo!

Very special guest, our new pro-chancellor, Tan Sri Ismail Merican. He had us relished in jazz with his voice and smile. 

I wonder was it by chance or was it planned beforehand? The day happened to be our Datuk Hanifa's birthday. So there, his birthday surprise. LOL

And the first Mahsa Idol Winner was born- Miss Siow Sze Hoong! Congrats! 

Congrats to the other two 1st runner up and 2nd runner up too! 

When they were taking the group photo, I was like, '' Wow, a fan club so fast?'' But undeniably, her friends were indeed supportive. 

I was supporting and expecting these people to win something. Oh well, you guys did well though.

Aha! How can I miss the chance to take picture with charmer?  =D

I must say it was a successful grand event by Mahsa UC, hopefully there will be more coming up!
